Text alerts from Carmel Police
The Carmel Police department is participating in a text alert system where you can get a message directly from the Police should a local event require it.
The webmaster has signed up and it is a painless process. I look forward to seeing this system in action.
If you are interested in receiving text alerts from the Carmel Police, please sign up. This could be an extremely useful and lifesaving service if for some reason the Police needed to inform residents of a situation.

You can also go directly to the service provider. When you put your address in, it will link you to Carmel PD.
Keep in mind that if you don't have text service on your mobile phone, you will be billed by the mobile service provider for alert messages you receive. I don't imagine there will be many alerts but we will see.
